Great hotel in the centre of Bucharest, very impressive decor and design. Staff was super nice, valet service was fab, big thank you to them for all the help! Breakfast was very good, continental with many options from savoury to sweet, also more experimental options like Asian touches to classic options and also local traditional breakfast dishes to try as well. We also had friends coming from other hotels and having breakfast with us, easy to arrange at the front desk. As it was my birthday, the staff left a small sweet treat in the room, which was a nice touch! The facilities are nice, all was explained well so it was clear from the beginning what was paid extra (e.g. external pool) and what included already (e.g., internal pool and gym). The room was overall nice and quiet with a view to the back where the external pool was located, the bathroom was nice and modern, and the bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay here again, maybe in a superior room, as we understood from others it's even nicer. But we had a lovely comfy stay nonetheless.

we booked two rooms, and we needed it together, as we arrived late they had to upgrade the rooms to provide that request, so they upgraded our rooms with no extra fees. also we had one drink from the minibar, and they did not charge us for it. the staff at the hotel was grate, they were really nice and offered things that helped us before we had to ask. one morning we arrived late to breakfast, the kids buffet was nearly empty. the girls are 8 and 10 so they found food in the "normal" buffet, but the hostess went to the kitchen and got them serials and kids yogurt without our asking. it felt like the staff went out of its way to make us happy. one room had a view to the pool, the other to the street, with a little "bed" on the windows edge so you can look out to the beautiful avenue. the hotel is located near everything and you can walk and find whatever you need.

The hotel is great. The location is excellent. The design of the room is very simple, but comfortable. Good bed. Nice bathroom. We had an upgrade to the junior suite, which had both a shower and a bathtub. We also had lounge access- it has small snacks during lunch time, and alcoholic beverages in the afternoon. On the day of check out, we had a very late flight, and the hotel authorized a late check out which was great. Good breakfast, big variety. Ate at the sushi restaurant, which was good. They have an indoor pool. They also have an outside beach club, which is separately charged and not included in the room rate. You can go in for half a day (10-16 or 16-22) or a full day. The separate charge may be a bit upsetting, but it makes the beach club very calm, not too many kids, very well organized.

The hotel itself is good. Breakfast was great. The bathroom could do with a bit of a refurb, but overall ok. Staff were nice, too. What I was not so happy with, however, is that they charge extra if you want to use their outdoor swimming pool. The price is no joke, it works out about £100 daily for 2 ppl to use it the whole day. After I explained this was the main reason I booked this hotel, they allowed me and my husband to use it for our stay. I did not enjoy this surprise, though, and having to worry about being charged or having to bargain for it. This is not a 5 star experience in my view.

Ana

My wife and I stayed on the 6th floor and it was very quiet as far as outside noise. The room was spacious and we had more than enough room in the bathroom for our toiletries. The shower was very user friendly which is not always the case at many hotels. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept great the entire time. We liked the location as it was close to old town (15 min walk) and the limited shopping that is available in Bucharest. Also they have one of the better gyms a hotel will have.
